Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) forms part of the agreement between WPForge Labs LLC, the provider of WPChatPro (“Processor”), and the customer (“Controller”) regarding the processing of personal data in connection with the use of WPChatPro.

1. Purpose

This DPA describes how personal data is processed when customers use WPChatPro and outlines the responsibilities of both parties under applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this Agreement:

  • Controller means the customer who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

  • Processor means WPForge Labs LLC, acting on behalf of the Controller where applicable.

  • Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

3. Scope of Processing

WPChatPro may process limited personal information necessary to:

  • Create customer accounts

  • Manage subscriptions

  • Process payments

  • Provide technical support

  • Verify software licenses

  • Deliver software updates

WPChatPro does not intentionally access or process the private conversations or customer content stored within your own WordPress installation unless required for technical support and explicitly authorized by you.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Determining the lawful basis for processing personal data.

  • Providing appropriate privacy notices to website users.

  • Obtaining consent where required.

  • Configuring WPChatPro in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

  • Maintaining appropriate security measures for their WordPress website.

5. Security Measures

WPForge Labs LLC implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including:

  • Secure HTTPS connections

  • Access controls

  • Regular software updates

  • Security monitoring

  • Encryption where appropriate

  • Limited access to customer information

6. Subprocessors

WPForge Labs LLC may use carefully selected third-party service providers for services such as:

  • Payment processing

  • Email delivery

  • Cloud infrastructure

  • Customer support

  • Website analytics

These providers are required to protect personal data in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

7. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred internationally, WPForge Labs LLC will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide our services

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes

  • Enforce contractual rights

Upon request, personal data will be deleted where legally permissible.

9. Data Subject Rights

WPForge Labs LLC will reasonably assist customers in responding to requests relating to:

  • Access

  • Rectification

  • Erasure

  • Restriction of processing

  • Data portability

  • Objection to processing

10. Confidentiality

All personnel authorized to process personal data are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

11. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Data Processing Agreement from time to time.
